Le Bon Bac accepts materials not accepted by municipal recycling curb-side collection. This includes batteries, aerosol cans, plastic aluminized flexible packaging (think chip bags and coffee bags!) and even shoes!

We also collect reusable takeout containers from Bopaq and ensure they are returned and kept in circulation.

Once you sign-up for our services, we will deliver a Le Bon Bac bin and bags within 5 business days of your registration. You can then start collecting and sorting your waste! On your designated pick-up day, place your filled bags in our bin just outside your door, before 9am. Our team will come and take just the bags and leave empty ones in your bin so that you can keep going.
We pick-up your collected materials once a month. When signing-up you’ll be asked to select your preferred collection day. Don’t worry, we will remind you a few days before your designated pick-up day to put your bin and bags outside your door.

Yes, we have provided you with marked bags to help you sort your waste appropriately. Why? Clean and well-sorted waste helps guarantee a higher quality end material that can be successfully reprocessed and used to make something else.
We have partnered with GoZero to help recycle your collected waste. Go Zero is a Quebec based company that has developed innovative, transparent and sustainable methods to recycle materials that are typically categorized as “non-recyclable”. GoZero works directly with manufacturers and provides 100% recycled raw material needed for new products - creating value out of your waste.
If you are putting your reusable Bopaq take-out container in our bin, rest assured we will get your container(s) back to them.
